Zune Lens Assembly - Plastic Upgrade 80GB
Finally, it is here. After all the complaints about the glass breaking on the Zune and no parts to fix the units, we have developed a new acrylic lens replacement for the broken glass. This will get you back up and going and will withstand more punishment than glass will. Being plastic, it will also scratch easier than glass, but is beats buying a new Zune. The old glass is hard to come off so we recommend sending it in to the experts. If you want to try the repair yourself, you will need a heat gun, double stick tape and tools. We will have instructions soon on how to do it. This is only the replacement lens and not the internal lcd of the Zune. This is different from the factory glass as it does not have reflective coating on it. But after the repair is complete, it most defintely beats the other alternative. This is for the 80gb Zune only right now.
