need of repair and you aren't sure exactly what is wrong? You can use the link below to create a "DIAGNOSIS
ONLY" work order and enter
all of your contact/return shipping information directly into our database.
After entering the work order, you will receive a confirmation email as well
as shipping instructions by email. Your credit card will not be
charged directly from the shopping cart and YOU WILL NEVER BE CHARGED FOR ANY
REPAIRS WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORIZATION. In the shopping cart, you will only be selecting the
method of RETURN SHIPMENT and approving that charge, you will be notified in
advance with a comprehensive quote and be given a chance to approve or
disapprove the work before it is performed. There is no risk to you. Our primary method of contact with you will be through email. It is critical that you provide a valid email address that you check frequently. Use of "free mail" accounts (yahoo, gmail or msn) that aren't your primary email address or aren't checked regularly drastically slow down the quotation and repair cycle. Our mail is sometimes filtered as "bulk" or "spam" mail by your email provider so make sure and check these folders for email from PDASmart.com. We will NEVER send unsolicited email or sell your email to anyone for any reason. If you do not want to create a work order in advance, please use the following guideline when sending your device in to PDASmart.com for service: DATA - Backup any data you want to keep before sending your unit in for service. We cannot be responsible for any loss of data on your PDA or iPod. Almost all repairs to your PDA involve disconnecting the battery which will result in data loss on your PDA. Non-volatile storage (like the iPod hard drive) will never be cleared by our technicians without your knowledge and approval. PACKAGING - Avoid using mailing envelopes. Us a sturdy cardboard box with dimensions of 6"x4"x3" or greater. Use plenty of bubble wrap or other packing material that will protect the LCD screen in the event of an impact to the shipping box. Please include the information requested at the bottom of this page inside the box with your unit. Failure to provide ALL of the information requested could result in delays in getting your unit repaired and back to you!SHIPPING - UPS, Federal Express, DHL, or the Postal Service are all acceptable for inbound shipping of your PDA or iPod. Please note that UPS, Fed-Ex, and Airborne Express all have online tracking systems that allow viewing the status of your shipment at any time. You are responsible for any shipping damage that occurs on the inbound leg. PDASmart.com strongly recommends that you insure your package for the Replacement value on the inbound shipment. CANADIAN SHIPMENTS - UPS GROUND service is not an acceptable way to ship your package to us from Canada. An inbound customs brokerage fee of $35.00 will be added if you ship us a package in this manner. UPS Express (Air) shipments are fine as well as postal, DHL or FedEx packages.DELIVERY - Always ship your inbound repair "Signature Required" if using the Postal Service to insure that the receipt of the package is recorded by the carrier and not left in our mailbox. If you use one of the standard carriers (FEDEX, UPS, Airborne Express, DHL), this is not necessary, all deliveries are made inside our office and signed for by our employees. PDASmart.com cannot be responsible for the receipt of any package not shipped in this manner. PDASmart.com will NOT accept packages shipped "Freight Collect" or "Duty Collect." If you placed an order through our web page, please print and enclose the order confirmation sheet that lists your order number (this is all we need). If you have not already entered a work order through the web, the information from the following form needs to be enclosed with your unit. Either print this page to fill it out or enclose a separate note with the unit, but please provide the information in the box with your unit.
